Let Guests See Every Corner Before They Book.
Drone video, aerial photography and 3D virtual tours for wedding venues, wineries and inns in Loudoun, Fauquier and Northern Virginia.
FAA Part 107 Certified · Fully Insured · Marine Corps Veteran-Owned
Show the whole property, not just one room.
Couples, planners and travelers make up their minds long before they visit. The wedding venues and wineries that win the booking are the ones that let people picture the day. Show them the approach up the drive, the ceremony lawn at golden hour, the view from the terrace and how the spaces connect.
The average Virginia couple spent $10,260 on their wedding venue in 2025.5 One extra booking more than pays for a full venue shoot.
We serve wedding venues, vineyards, inns and event spaces across Loudoun and Fauquier counties, from Middleburg and Leesburg to Warrenton and out into the Shenandoah Valley.

What we do
Venue drone services
Aerial venue films
A cinematic 60 to 90 second flyover of your grounds, ceremony site, reception space and setting, plus short vertical cuts for social.
Vineyard and venue aerial photography
Aerial stills at golden hour of the vineyard rows, the gardens, the ceremony lawn and the hunt country around you.
Walkthrough video
A smooth, steady walk through the day as a guest lives it: the arrival, the ceremony, cocktail hour, the reception and the bridal suite.
Wedding venue 3D virtual tours
Our SceneScape360 tours let couples and planners walk your event spaces, suites and tasting room from anywhere, like the Matterport tours they already know. Ready to embed on the virtual-tour page of your website.
Planner's site maps
A measured overhead map of your grounds showing lawns, tent sites, parking and distances, so planners, tent and rental companies can lay out events to scale without another site visit.
Event-day aerials
Wedding drone videography for a few signature aerial moments from a real wedding or festival, planned with your coordinator and flown over open ground, never above guests.
Interior and detail photography
Rooms, barns, tasting rooms and gathering spaces, lit and edited to match the aerials.

When to shoot your venue
Ask about dates- Winter (December to March): plan next year’s content and book your dates, and capture winter and holiday looks.
- Spring bloom (mid-May): dogwoods and redbuds at their peak, shot on weekdays before the busy weekends.
- Summer: vineyards in full leaf, shot early in the morning or at golden hour.
- Fall color (mid-October): the most-photographed weeks of the year, so book early. We shoot on weekdays, around your events.
How it works
How a venue shoot runs
- 01
Tell us your story
A 20-minute call about who you want to book, the spaces that matter and what photos never capture. We look at your website and listings and suggest what's missing.
- 02
Plan the light
We build a shot list and pick a date clear of events, timed for afternoon interiors, golden-hour aerials and the venue lit up at dusk.
- 03
One visit, everything captured
Aerial film and photos, walkthrough video, interiors, 3D tours and a planner's map in a single afternoon and evening.
- 04
Content for every channel
Your film, social cuts in wide and vertical formats, photos and tour links, with a note on where to use each one.
- 05
Stay in season
Come back each spring, summer, fall and winter so your listings always look current.
Good questions
What venue owners ask us
Tell us about your property below and we'll plan your shoot.
How much does a venue shoot cost?
It depends on your property and what you need. Tell us about your venue below and we'll send a clear quote.
When should we book?
Winter is ideal for planning. Spring bloom (mid-May) and fall color (mid-October) are the most popular shoot windows, and they fill up.
Can you capture our venue at sunset?
Yes. We plan every shoot around golden hour and stay for the lights at dusk.
Can you shoot while guests are on site?
We schedule around your events and follow FAA rules on flying near people, so guests are never part of the plan unless you want them to be.
Do you fly over guests at weddings?
No. We keep the drone over open ground, with every shot planned in advance with your coordinator.
Can planners use your work?
Yes. Our planner's site map shows lawns, tent sites, parking and distances to scale.
Can you come back each season?
Yes. Many properties look completely different in spring bloom, summer green, fall color and snow, and seasonal refreshes keep your listings current.
Who owns the content?
You get full rights to use it in your marketing. We ask permission before featuring it in our portfolio.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Mike is an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot, and Root & Sky AI is fully insured.
